Don’t look at me, I had no part in this. I was asleep. |

What really kills me is I realized that several of these gems of dialogue appear in the screenplay I wrote for a class back in college. Not as many as the ads for We Were Soldiers, but still. On the other hand, I will definitely be waiting in line for I HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS II later this summer.

None of these can compare, of course, to ONE OF THESE DAYS THESE CRAZY STUNTS OF YOURS ARE GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED. And nobody can forget the poetry of DAMMIT, THERE MAY BE MEN ALIVE IN THERE and MY BOYS HAVEN’T SEEN A GOOD FIGHT IN MONTHS, LIEUTENANT. Of course, there’s also YOU WANT MY BADGE NUMBER? HERE’S MY FREAKIN’ BADGE NUMBER! and I DON’T GOTTA TALK TO NO ONE BUT MY LAWYER. But my personal favorite will always be ALL I WANT IS JUSTICE FOR MY PEOPLE. |

For some reason, George Carlin's gag of "Do what you want to the girl, but LEAVE ME ALONE!" comes to mind... |
