I would like to express my gratitude to you for sharing your reservations about John Ashcroft's nomination for Attorney General with the media. I agree wholeheartedly with your points on his past beliefs being counter to the position he has been nominated to fill. Please know that I support you voting against Mr. Ashcroft's nomination, if a vote is to occur.
